COLOSSIANS 1:15-20 15
He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. 17And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist. 18And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence. 19For it pleased the Father that in Him all the fullness should dwell, 20and by Him to reconcile all things to Himself, by Him, whether things on earth or things in heaven, having made peace through the blood of His cross.

Tonight we celebrated my nieces birthdays...which was totally crazy, loud and completely what a 6 and 8 year old birthday should be like....The greatest part is that everyone was totally ready to head home and get ready for bed! They all got into their jammies and we sat down to do our reading and Advent calendar. We talked with the kids tonight about Jesus and what he was like as a "man". We also talked with the kids about the different ways we can love our neighbor and show our love for God through our actions. Tage and Simon really want to make yummy treats for our physical neighbors which I think we will do together next week while Brant is gone. We ended the evening with Tage singing one of the songs he will be doing at The River Academy's Christmas Program. Have a wonderful evening and I'll be back tomorrow~
