Well tonight was fun...Before we started our readings we told the kids we were going to sing some Christmas Hymns...Our kids LOVE to sing, which I know I have told you all before, so there was lots of happiness bustling around our living room tonight. We sang Good Christian Men Rejoice (yes, we know it is a Christmas hymn and not an Advent hymn) and O Come O Come Emanuel. It was great fun. Once the singing and reading was over the kids opened their Advent calender door.. and dove right into their chocolate..which they had been anticipating and drooling over all day....the whole point of Advent...anticipation!
The kids have one of those cheesy drug store calendars..fun for their rooms!
