For Sale

Here is our home for those of you who have not seen it. I know we have only been in it a year, and I know you must all think we are crazy....and your probably right! We have found an old house on 1/2 of an acre, on a really quiet street really close to where we are now. So, we listed our house hoping it will sell before the other house does. If the other house sells to someone other than us, then we'll pull ours off the market and stay right where were at! Anyhow, I thought this would be a fun way for you all to see our house since the pictures in the MLS are really nice. You can see them here. Have a great day!

Four Down...Two to Go!

There are 4 of us committed to do the Leavenworth Marathon in October! That means we only need 2 more ladies to make our team! I know there are others out there who deep down feel they want to do it...or may know someone who would want to! This is my last post bugging you all, so please give me a comment, call or email to let me know your in! More Running Stuff...MUST READ!

I have an idea that would make this race thing more achievable! This year the Leavenworth marathon and half-marathon can be run as a relay! That would mean each team member would run somewhere in the ballpark of 4-4.5 miles! Doesn't that sound like fun! We could have a team name and shirts and stuff! Then maybe us ladies could even plan a night in Leavenworth...any takers? I'm in for sure!

Calling all Runners

Ok friends! Last year in October I ran the Leavenworth half-marathon and I am contemplating it again this year. Would anyone like to commit or possibly even toss around the idea with me? I am not in it to win it, just in it to set a goal and finish. My target mile is 10min. Anyone interested? Comment here or give me a call. Training needs to begin soon! Did I mention its during Oktoberfest?

Happy Mothers Day!

Have I mentioned how much I love my family? I have the most amazing husband who knows me better than I know myself sometimes, and always seems to know what really makes me happy! He made sure Mothers Day was relaxing and did not require much work on my part. We went to the most beautiful garden store (Flowers By The Brim) and got some herbs and a hanging pot of flowers for the deck. Then we went and got pizza for dinner which was a HUGE hit for the kids and me since I didn't have to cook (and I guess my fav. food is pizza...see below).

Here are some things Tage and Simon wrote about me in my Mothers Day cards. I was quite surprised to learn some new things about myself! :)

1. I have black hair and green and black eyes.

2. I know all about play dough!

3. My favorite food is peperoni pizza.

4. I'm 6ft tall and weigh 48 lbs.

5. I make the best pancakes.

6. My favorite thing to do is watch T.V.

7. Tage says I'm great because I help him.

8. They love it when I cook dinner.

9. Simon loves it when I share my gum with him.

10. Simon likes it when I love him.

Happy Apple Blossom!

For those of you who don't know, Apple Blossom is a big festival celebrating the Wenatchee Valley's apple and fruit industry. The festival happens during the spring when most of the orchards are in full bloom. One of the pictures below is of a cherry tree blooming outside my front window! I have really enjoyed watching it in the mornings while I drink my coffee and talk with my hubby. These are in random order....sorry
